As with all BSAC clubs, SSAC does not run for profit. All of our members are volunteers in the roles they choose to undertake, be that instructing, skippering the boat, or running the bar. All of this helps to keep costs reasonable, opening diving to as many people as possible.
If you would like to get to know us before joining the club, you are welcome to visit on a Wednesday night to chat all things diving, perhaps over a pint or two!
Membership comprises of two parts - the BSAC subscription and the clubs own membership costs.
BSAC subscription currently costs £60.50, and pays for:
BSAC third party liablity insurance, with coverage up to £10,000,000
Monthly SCUBA magazine delivered to your door
